SUNSET ORANGE- 2001 PONTIAC TRANS AM WS6
Had some paint work done >pics<
OK some of you know i had some paint work done on the t/a. I had some issues with some lights coming on and found out it was no big deal. But they did refund my money on the service i needed done.
First i had the front bumper painted because of some rock chips bug damage and some clear coat coming off. Then i had the drivers side door painted because of a blemish and stress cracks along the weather striping were it meets the window. I am more than happy with the job and they worked with me to get any problems solved. So here are a few pics of the finished job.

How in the world did you get your rims that nice. What do you use on them. That looks really nice

First wash then use mr cleans magic eraser for auto then meguiars all metal polish. Buff with orbital w/micro fiber bonett and micro fiber towel. Last quick detailer w/micro fiber towel.
Dont have to do this all the time.

When i got the car it had some bug and rock chip damage. And something landed on the bumper that made the clear coat start to peal up.
The door also had some stress cracks along the weather stripping and an imperfection under the clear coat. It was all there when i got the car but was pissing me off to get it painted.

mine has the clear coat crazks too... were your on teh drivers side almost on the corner? For some reason I dont think it was from anything hitting it. I think it was from bad prep and mixing the right amount of the stuff for painting on plastic. I guess it could just be from something hitting it but I wouldnt rule out all possibilities.
It looks awesome by the way. Deffinitely my favorite color. the only word i could think of was Damnnn

I dont know how the stress cracks started but looked like they were getting worse. Im really carefull on closing my door. I couldnt hide them with any kind of wax. But i havent see it on any other car.
Thanks guys.
