Had an idea... Need your $.02!

Now that my SS is off the road until march, I fugured its a good time to start doing some more appearance mods.

I want to do the berger mod (still cant decide between flat and gloss), but I was just thinking about taping off the area that is still visable in the trunk and just painting the back area black and keeping the jams red.

Anyone do this before? Just wanted to see how it looks before I move forward with the idea.

I have never heard of or seen anyone do that before

As far as flat or gloss, the true Berger panel was flat black. Take that for what its worth

I chose flat to stay true, but the gloss looks good as well.

IMO the rear panel looks better flat black I had it like that on my red Z28 n it look alot better than gloss black

I think if you leave the jams red it will look like you did a half ass job thats just my opinion though.
