H.I.D.
My passenger side H.I.D. headlight does not come on at first but if I flash my high beams on then off it works, or if I turn the headlight switch on then off it's fine, it comes on and stays on. My question is do H.I.D. bulbs wear out gradually or burn out instantly? or is this a sign my H.I.D. ballast is going out?

Dont know if your still on here after 2 years lol but what i was taught at GM asep program was that the hid bulb wears out gradually usually 5 years. I used to have a set of hid's that i had your problem with, it ended up just being a crappy hid kit, i ordered a new kit from a different manufacturer and they work great never once givin me any troubles. I recommend tspny.com, they are cheap and the bulbs or ballasts never fail and they are water proof!

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
Could be the ignitor(bulb). I have dealt with vehicles with the same issue. The igniter will come on with no issue, then another time, will have an issue. Or they will be very dim if not flicker on and off and stay off. Most of the time, it is the ignitor.
