    Grill

I have a 2000 ss and i want to take out the stock grill because i like it better without one. I tried pulling it out but the top is still attached. Does anyone know the best way to get it out, so i can put it back in if i dont like it?

I don't think you can put them back in once you remove them, I might be wrong though. I had to use a dremel to cut the top 2 rivets to get mine out.

You can reuse them, but they're a 'christmas tree' designed post that is held on by metal clips on the other side. If you yank them out from the front it usually strips the plastic post and you cant re-attach them that way. To assure being able to reuse it, you'll have to remove the whole front bumper cover to get in there and take the clips off carefully. Otherwise, you can do like I did when I put mine back on and modify the bottom clips with nuts and bolts to lock into the bumper cover and hold the top portion on with double sided tape.

My approach would just be to yank the sucker out. If you dont like it.. worse case senario would be to buy an SLP SS grille or even a bowtie grille. I think they look way better than stock anyway.
