Getting the TA painted..........

This is a discussion on Getting the TA painted.......... within the Appearance Section forums, part of the General Help category; how does a few rock chips warrant a complete repaint by insurance? insurance rates in your area must be huge......

    I am not sure how insurance works but I think the guy that wrote up the claim spruced it up a little bit........but i'm not going to complain! The economy is in a horrible state and the guy needs to feed his family and if it is at the expense of a new paint job for me ..........well sounds good to me!

    Anyone else with suggestions on what to look for after my car gets painted?
    2000 Arctic White trans am, ws6 hood, ws6 air box, slp lid, slp smooth bellows, slp loudmouth exhaust,shift kit, rebuilt trans, LS6 intake, 3.73 gears, Shaner S3 p/p throttle body, and a tune . SFC. C6 ZO6 rims 18" in back 17" in front. Drilled and slotted rotors.

    Make sure they are going to give you a lifetime guarantee on the paint. Some places cut corners and the paint flakes or cracks after a couple years.

    Hey man well to make a long story short I was at the body shop that is doing the work and I told them to keep the door trim off.......but I am not sure how good it is going to look with the "trans am" emblem in black and no door trim.....I gues I will find out once they get it done......what do you think guns....I would like to keep the trans am on there but would it look horrible?
