    FTP 98mm clear lid on a SS?

    I thinking about getting a Mti clear lid. I keep reading how they crack so Now I'm looking into a FTP 85mm,/98mm clear lid,but was wondering if it would rub on my hood. I've got a show car so I dont to F'up my paint

    YES, it does rub. I put some electrical tape on my hood but it only helps out a bit. But yes it does rub.
