Front Air Dams (Spoilers)
Where can I find a Air Dam for the front of my WS6 (2002) that is close to Cincinnati??? I found some in Cali but they want $100.00 to $150.00 for shipping.
Please help if you can
Thanks
Bill

I'm looking for the aftermarket spolier not the factory one. I want to add a little bit of custom look?? Does anyone know where to get them from??
Thanks

blacker than wesleysnipes- 98' trans am
you know you'll need the side skirts and rear to make the car look balanced right?

FYI and Air dam is in the front to allow air to reach the radiator and the intake.

ebay has the wings west kit or just front spoiler. . . you can get just the front spoiler for around 250 i believe. i have the whole kit on my 98 bird:

and i agree shady if he had a formula, but with a ta that already has side skirts and the larger rear bumper, i think itll look fine. when you install the front spoiler, it can be adjusted accordingly to match the height of the side skirts

imo this would probably block the air scoop for the radiator and intake. lowering the car would look better. but if you still want it, check with our sponsors.

i never had any over heating problems or noticable higher temp for that matter and i didnt even install the larger air dam that comes with the front spoiler . . . now for actual performance loss im not sure. it could limit actual cold air intake i guess causing some hp loss. . . but very hard to test that. i will say this tho the firebird spoiler does have a fairly large opening that prob allows about the same amount of air to get to the air dam. . . the trans am version doesnt. ive seen people put the firebird version on a trans am and this could be the reason but i dont know

The front air dam only helps to direct the air and maximize airflow to the radiator and condensor. The firebird front wings west can be transplanted on but it won't have much of an effect in directing airflow. I've seen the front chin spoiler without the rockers and rear skirts and it looks ok. The rockers actually sit lower and follows the flare of the front spoiler to fill in the body more.

and so with the ta (havin stock side skirts) just the puttin on either front spoiler will look good. since both firebird and trans am front bumper curve down on the side to match the rockers (with or without the side skirts) the front spoiler really just helps the whole front bumper to match that height

Check out BADBLUEBIRD he's got the front spoiler only on his car. It doesn't look bad.
