So that is a true HID conversion? that seems too cheap for a conversion..is it just a lot better bulbs or are the other kits i've seen just really overpriced?

I got a set of these for my mom's 97 Camaro. The bulbs are not TRUE xenon HIDs, since they don're require ballasts/ignitors; almost like hyperwhite bulbs. The main reason I would think someone would go with this kit that it allows you to change out JUST the bulb; as opposed to the entire glass housing, that is stock on all pre-97 Camaros. That's why I got them.

I made the same thing for alot cheaper for my 96 Camaro. I just used my bulbs I already had in the car, pulled the element out, cleaned the housings up, and used 9005 and 9006 bulbs and it worked great and was way cheaper. The bulbs are a direct swap. It's best to find stock bulbs with the clearest, least textured glass possible for the best results. I also put the clear flush mount headlight covers on mine to protect the bulbs from rock chips. there are pics on my cardomain. I have since updated to the Hella FF75 conversion, but the car is for sale now and I don't even drive it anymore. Both upgrades were a great imrpovement over stock, but the Hella's were best.

These are not true HID conversion (although they do sell one for about $300.)
There is a replacement glass projecter that looks like the factory sealed beam light, and a bulb. You plug the bulb into the factory wiring, put the bulb inside the projector and put it all back together like stock. It is a dual element bulb, so the high beams still work too. They also sell matching bulbs to replace the fog light bulbs.
I just installed mine, and have a small problem. The passenger side does not work correctly. It comes on, but does not light up nearly as bright as the drivers side. I did pull it back out and double check the connections to ensure they were creating a good electrical connection and it looked good. I sent the company an e-mail asking for assitance, but thought you guys might have some insight.
Any thoughts?

Well, I am an idiot. I tested the headlight without it mounted. The headlight needs to be grounded through the housing. Fully installed, it works like a charm. VERY bright. I like it alot.
