Fogged Healights
Does anyone have and tips or tricks for getting fog off of the headlights. I heard you can wet sand them and then spray clear. Anything else out there?

Meguiar's PLASTX... It works, actually adds some of the oils and minerals back to the plastic. I have used it on all sorts of plastics, watches, etc.

You can take them off of the car & wet sand them with 1500-2000 grit sandpaper until the tiny cracks & cloudy spots are gone. Then clear coat them with a high quality clearcoat like PPG or Dupont. I did this to my 99 z & they look almost as good as new.

I am in the process of doing this to the MARK VIII, it has very big lens .. So I will keep you up to date .. I know the 1500 grit does a very good job , but is a slow go . Im going to use the Mc Guires on the other lens and see if there is any differince ...

I did the very same to my car today, and could not be more happy. I am too afraid to clear coat over mine, I also used Plastx instead of what this thread suggests, either one will work pretty good.
I went 400 allover, then 600, then 1500 for allmost a half hour each lense, then polished the hell out of them with the Plastx. Allmost new now, and mine were pretty haggered. Now, time for the Wistler mod....
