flush mount antenna?
anyone have information on a flush mount or a few inch tall antenna for our cars? i dont want to buy a new power one and im not interested in a standard height fixed or a 13 inch floppy rubber one.... someone please help me im almsot ready to get her out for the summer as soon as michigan drys out and the snow and salt is 100% gone....

ive wondered this also . . . maybe an amplified universal? i hadn't seen any been changed out personally. . . i just always see non-working power
i rigged my broken power one where it just is down all the time. . . only gets very local channels though (2 to be exact )

after thought auto has some i think 8 inch antennas i don't know about flush..

You can get a 8 inch from After Thoughts . I have bought one for my Camaro a few months ago for around $25-$30. I hope this helps.

You can probably unplug the power plug from the factory one and use a jumper wire to raise or lower the antenna to your desired hight and just leave it unpluged afterwards. I have done this with a probe gt I used to have and it worked fine.

I have a BitViper too, he makes a special adapter base and uses an O/E short antenna, cool has all hell, love mine. Can post close ups when I get home if yall like?
