    I must have missed this.. Not an LSx car for sure but have you ever driven a 3800II powered car??.. We don't get passed by "4 bangers" as much as you may think.. Anyone with half a brain is'nt going to try to race something that could clearly beat them. 3800II = torque, something alot of stock 4-cylinder cars don't usually have in abundance.. Also considering the racing heritage and the large after market for our engines, we don't have to break the bank to mod and beat v8's. Not all of course but many have fallen to the 3800II s/c and n/a.. A 3800 with a single turbo properly tuned will strait spank many v8 powered sleds.. Hell I've been known with just a custom built exaust to intimidate Mustangs owners sitting @ a light..
    I've also beaten up on a few v8's with just an N/A 3800II as well..

    I know I know I'm going against my old grain here about the 3.8.. But after tearing into mine's internals I've begun to appreciate them more and more.. Diging into their past was a real eye opener for me.. Sorry to thread jack Mr. Bond.. If your not going for the hp for right now there's nothing wrong imho with making her more pretty.. Go fast stuff can come @ anytime.. That's why I take exellent (to the point of anal) care of my v6 powered Camaro.. Cuz @ the end of the day she's still a Camaro...

    Ive thought about toying with a 3800, but not when its my only car.

    since a manual trans is more predictable, ive contemplated throwing on a 50 or 75 shot, just for shits and giggles....get it? giggles? lol......ive been awake too long.

    but yeah, its a quick little car, just gotta learn how to drive stick, lol

    its acting like the same adhesive thats on the OEM strip, the front and rear short peices came off clean...just left two lines on each edge that i gotta buff off. The middle piece left about half the glue, but its coming off, slowly.

    btw, i soaked them with 3M adhesive remover pretty good before i started peeling.

    Ill get that extra rear piece off tomorrow, and hopefully pull out the buffer next week.

    ok well im gonna wait to upload a lot of the before pics, until i have the after pics.

    but heres my experience with the PlastX

    before


    heres us working on them using the drill attachment it came with


    Heres the clean one with the original


    and heres the right one with that tape taken off.....i did that so thered be a solid line for comparison


    Heres one of the rims AFTER a go with a brush and power washer. The way they look between the spokes was how it looked all over


    And heres after an hour with some brake cleaner and a toothbrush



    And heres the weird side molding....DIRTY!!!!
