Looks like he did it on the car because he has the fenders masked off with newspaper. I want to do mine on the car because bleeding the lines is not my cup of tea + I am lazy.

I masked the fenders with newspaper. for the front calipers I took them off the rotor, but kept the brake lines on. I just covered everything with news paper and set the caliper on a jack stand.the front and back of the caliper is painted.that was a B!tch.you have to be carefull not drop or scratch the caliper.so for the rear I just left them on the rotor and covered everything with news paper wich took me no more than 30min.for the rear. no bleeding involved.
this is what I did for the rear.

Yeah I unbolted mine but left the brake line hooked up. It just made it a lot easier to sand that way.

You can always sand and clear coat the rotors hubs. I did mine about 8 months ago and it still hasnt worn off.

Wish I could. That was my old '98. I don't have her anymore. I did end up putting these on her just before she left me.

Yea, I am getting a whole new set of pads and rotors so I guess I can go do it when the shop has them all unhooked. The baer rotors already have the hub painted so shouldnt be too bad to paint the calipers.

Anyone ever deal with this R1 Concepts, Inc. place? Are the rotors as good as they look? The price is definately right.

Since others are posting there caliper work, here are a few completed photos of mine. We did them with the Dupli Color high temp primer/base coat/clear coat process. It took about 9 hours to complete and they are still holding up nicely.

well I had to order the special SOM paint from GM. at 5.0z/12.99 each. I used 2.5 of them cost alot for spray paint in my opinion. I used hi temp primer and clear, but the SOM wasnt hi temp... worked out just fine.
