Finally got it done......
check out the berger panel. it is flat black with low gloss (satin) clear. both are Dupont paint. i went for a cleaner look with having just the face done in the flat black and low gloss (satin), while having the upper part that goes around the inside of the hatch, painted the color of the car and regular gloss clear. it gives the inside of the hatch a smooth look still, without breaking it up and running into black. these are a couple of install pics, it got dark and i couldnt get it all cleaned up to show the finished product, but i will get them tomorrow probably. i also have the stainless emblems and z28 badge, but i am going to wait a while probably on the install of those. the emblems and badges are from muffinbuster, great, great work i tell ya... but those pics will be posted when i apply them. let me know what you guys think... thanks.
the car before.....
the panel started off as this......(look familiar y2k?)........
then the removal of the old.....
then the new going in...........
i think it kicks ass............

Wow, that looks slick! I was staring at it trying to figure out what you meant, and then it hit me! Can't say mine bothers me being all black.... but that does look quite excellent!

you know it........... i got these awesome looking fill ins and z badge. pics do these things no justice. they look killer. but i think i am going to let the paint set up for a few days or so to cure really good, and also make sure this is the route i want to go on the z28 badge. i am kinda thinking about the old school z badge. what do you think. also maybe put them on the fenders to match.anyways heres the pics.

i think it would look good with stripes. y2k has a wide stripe that runs to his hatch, and looks awesome.

does this panel bolt on? i would want to buy a different one to paint so I could return it back to stock later if needed.

I saved my original panel as well. The emblems/fill ins look good Kebie. I don't know how well they would show on the fenders against the pewter though

no, i was saying i dont know if i want to stick that stainless z28 badge on my rear panel, or do like a original old school z28 badge on there, and also on my fenders. i just want to be sure before i put something on this panel and try to remove it, and either ruin the badge or panel, or both.
