faded headlight
My drivers side headlight is kind of faded looking the passenger side is perfectly clear any ideas on how to make the drivers side look as good as the passenger? I know there are some sort of polishers you can buy from any auto parts store but do they work? We had some plastic cleaner at work and tried that but it didn't help any. Somebody told me use 1500 grit sand paper and that would take the film off then come back with some 2000 grit and it would polish it up and make look like new.....just a little leary of using sandpaper?!?!?

Pewter- 2000 Camaro SS
I do not know what forum it is in, or what website for that matter, but there is a step by step how to. Just wet sand the light with 800 up to 1200 or 1600 grit and then use the polish. I suggest this polish here: http://www.spadepot.com/products/005novus.htm
