    DRL drill mod?

I know our DRL's are known to have problems with overheating and burning up bulb sockets, had anyone drilled any holes into the DRL housing to vent the heat? I just replaced my bulbs and the sockets looked burnt and i dont want them getting any worse. Thanks!

id think holes would let in moisture and cause other issues

I really like how the filament bulbs are orange and glowy so led isn't an option. I think I'm gunna find a couple little plastic elbow breather tubes and drill a hole and epoxy them into the rear of the housing.
