To me it looks like a 3.8 v6 with Z06 rims and Z28 badges. If it is a real Z then it does kinda look cool cause it is different.

    It looks nice, but I personally wouldn't put Z28 badges on a 3.8l v6.

I said it kinda looked like a 3.8 with the badges cause the rims were changed and the roof panel was painted. I do like it cause it is different. Looks good. As long as it is a V8 its all good.

The roof has not been painted . The roof , sail, was full of glue bubbles . I installed this silver/white thread carbon fiber halo as a fix. over org. sail.

So the sail had bubbles and over those bubbles you put the s/w thread carbon fiber?

Interesting, i didn't know all z28's had the top black. I would just look for badges and sound and it was game on for me Nice car though

I always thought it was a year thing. 2000's and newer were painted and before that they were all black.

like i said it looks good. i just happened to look at other camaro's and noticed all v8's are black on top from what ive seen. this is an awesome way to keep yours unique because nobody will know otherwise until you pop the hood.
