Oh I gotcha... What they do is take a stock housing and put plastic on top of it to divide the lowbeam housing into two seperate beams, but it's still only running off of one bulb. If you look close at it, you'll see how it used to be a stock lens.

The third light is where the Halo mechanism is located. Our cars just have two huge lights (ever get high beams flashed while your lows were on?) that blind everyone. I put the blackouts on because for one thing I liked the uniform black and pewter (hence the need to do all the lights) and to stop people from thinking I was a dick for running high beams all the time. Plus, I wanted to do something a lil different.

I orderd em and they should be here on Weds. Ill let you know how they go, but just search ebay for camaro halo headlights, and they should pop up. Im still iffy on how they're gonna look. Its the three bulb,-smaller-lights-looks-stupid whisper going off in the back of my mind. But I dropped 169 on em, so I hope they look badass.

Be sure to let me know what you think about them and post some pics. I am skeptical about them as well, but I already have a set of smoked turnsignals and sidemarkers I want to pair up with some dark headlights. I was hoping to find a reasonable set of stockers in good condition that I could blacken myself, but my search hasn't been very successful thus far

Yeah, Im on the same page. No such thing as reasonable stock lights, and I have dark turnsignals, blacked out taillights and windows soon to be tinted to match the black of the roof and mirrors. I want smooth. Next thing I aim to get is the SS spoiler. Then maybe go from the c5r's to some welds. Just not feelin the chrome as much as I will the draglites.

But I will definitely post pics after I install them and the new turnsignals. I also think its time to mount the front spoilers and see how they look.

the Halos are in. Im still on the fence about how rice-esque I think they might be, but damn to they look tight. Plus all shiny clean. And I have working turn signals again. Need to pick up some touch up paint from where I chipped it with the pry bar, but eh. Front needs a repaint anyway.

Thanks. I still have to wire up the Halos themselves. For some reason I have two wires coming out of a transformer, and neither is marked ground. Have the guys at work run a line to a toggle and run separate power. I'm not so good with auto electric. But I did splice in the new turnsignal pigtails. Thats why one of them only works when blinker is on. Dammit.

Oh, kind of like the whistler mod, just a color match to your car instead of black. That would look awesome.

i wired mine into the turn signals so when my marker lights are on, or the turn signals, the halos work.
