    Decal Kits any Good??

    http://www.phoenixgraphix.com/

I found a nice racing stripe graphics kit on that site that I am debating on getting, since I would have to drive an hour away to find a reputable custom auto painter. And then would have to have a friend to drive me back home, and would really be hard to do with my work schedule. My question is how good are they? Will it start to peel off and bubble/crack after a year or so? Can you wax over them? Will a power washer rip them off? If I decide to remove it because it went to crap, will it have damaged the paint underneathe? Know a better brand/company?

If you car spends a lot of time in the sun, there is a very good chance if you remove the stripes that you will be able to tell a difference in the paint.

i would say try the viyanl out first if you dont like them then take them off but if they look good, go to that guy a hour away and have them painted on. there cheap and give a great look to any car.

and for power washing, i would never spray them directyl or wax over them. just be carefull.

I bought mine somewhere else (www.3rdgendecals.com) but I absolutely love them. My car stays in the garage under a car cover so I don't know how the decals would look after a long time in the sun? The place I bought them from said 6-8 years lifetime if in the sun. I hope to get more than that leaving mine in the garage. + I only drive my car on Friday nights and sometimes on the weekends so it doesn't see the sun that often anyway.
