Cloth Seat Covers

I recently bought a 1999 Z28 and the cloth bottom driver seat has a couple of burns in it. Where can I but the original type seat covers to replace this with? Would they still be available from the dealer? Thanks.

go to gmpartsdirect.com . . . they do not list if they are leather or cloth, but it looks like the bottom seat cover is $248, but they are only listing 00-02. . . may have to contact them to see if they can get it

Thanks for the help. I checked with a local dealer and he said they have been discontinued. I don't see where any reproduction companies are making them either. I will probably have to find an upholstry shop who can make me something to replace the piece with the burns.

If anyone has a drivers seat bottom for a 1999 with the neutral cloth color interior let me know.

dude, don't repair it, UPGRADE! get some leather seats for that thing-they'll look great. Check the parts for sale section here or ebay-someone allways is selling some.

take a look at iggee.com . They sell man made leather covers for all your seats for well under 300. I bought a set for my 08 crew cab chevy and they fit great. they will 2 tone any color you want but it takes about 2 weeks for them to make and then ship em.

is the leather better quality than our crappy stock?
bad thing is, is that they dont look like they sell our rear seats. . .and if your gonna change your front to something totally different, i would want my rears to match.. . maybe thats just me tho

The problem is the door panels match the seat inserts. I was not really wanting to replace both door panels and all the seats just because of a couple of small burns in the drivers seat bottom. I do agree that an upgrade would look better. Possibly sometime in the future.

agreed . . . im sure you can find a matching seat bottom at a salvage yard
