Clearcoat Problem
I have several spots on my hood where the clearcoat is popping off. Paint on the rest of the car is fine. I plan to repaint just the hood but wonder if there is something going on with the fiberglass causing this. The car has the original paint is not garaged. My plan is to sand down to the fiberglass, prime, color and clear. Should I do anything else to it?

Sand it, then sand it again and again and again. Start with around 180 and work up to as high as you want. Its all in the prep. Sounds like somebody did a scratch and shoot on there but NC sun will KILL it
