chrome intake??????

has anyone had there factory intake chrome? if so where did you get it done and how much?? please include pics if you have any

Thats a chrome lid. He means the ls1/ls6 intake

I would like to chrome MY intake...I think Spectra Chrome can spray it.

Why chrome, its heavy and will keep the heat in and their for loose power!!!

^^^^^Have u checked out Spectra Chrome?...It's a spray on "paint"..I'll have to get more info on it to see if holds in heat....

No I havent ever heard of that, and that would be a good idea to make sure it is heat resistent would suck to put alot of work into something and it not work.

our factory intakes are made out of plastic. you can hydrodip thm in chrome(paint). There companies that make chrome intakes. BBK makes a aluminum intake,97ramm has a chrome intake and Typhoon (sp?) makes one too.

Yea I pm'd him a link to the polished aluminum bbk intake, but I am thinking he wants to go straight for chrome, and I didnt know that you could chrome plastic.
