Center Console Fabrication HELP

I'm putting in a B&M Hammer Shifter tomorrow and I want to keep the stock center console top, only I believe I'm going to be 1/4-1/2" shy in height. Seeing how the top is seperate from the rest of the console, I'm tring to think up a fix. (SUGGESTIONS) I'm considering some type of ring that will rest on the console bottom raising it up the required amount and then re-installing the top onto that. It would need to be solid and some type of bracket/brace to raise the rear bolts (which would need to be longer) that hold it into place.

Does anyone know of sombody on here with the right raw materials and equipment to knock this out and make it look good.

So you want a huge 1/4" to 1/2" spacer to put on the bottom of the whole center console?

This was yesterdays post. Did you install the shifter? Pics of how it's higher than the console?

Its a mout point shifter won't go in w/o custom linkage JEGS misquoted took it back today thx anyway
