The OP was probably just making it short by not saying Trans Am WS6, plus don't you mean *Pontiac* NOT pontiat?

Without the SS hood it looks like a Concord. My mom had one at the same time I had my SS.

before buying my TA I was really wanting a camaro, but after running accross the one I bought the body lines just seemed to flow so much better then the camaro. WS6 hood is ok but it was more the rear fender lines that attracted me

since when is a chevy interior better than a pontiac? aren't they the same?

IMO - They both look good for different reasons.

WS6 - Looks a lot tougher, faster, meaner...the better showcar.
SS - Looks a lot more refined, sleeker, more stylish, and appealing to the masses.

I've also found that a majority of chicks are intimidated by a WS6, but flock to an SS.

    Final verdict:
WS6 if you want to draw a crowd at a car show.
SS if you want to get laid more.

There different. They have different air vents, and other real minor differences. Like I said, the SS isn't a show car interior but I just don't like the WS6 or Pontiac's interior. I would rather have my Maro. Just my .02

Well, I don't know about anybody else, but I'm married to a Nymph, so I can get laid anytime I want...and she Loves my Trans Am...and She Races it at the track...so the "intimidation" factor doesn't work! Plus, I get chicks all the time complimenting me on my car....but thats just my experience..may not be the same for everyone!

Personally, I to think the Camaro has a nicer interior. Granted, I like the vents in the TA cause of the posibility of putting gauges in them. I like the Camaro seems MUCH more, and the Camaro dash more as well, especially around the radio. I like the TA door panels MUCH more though (not sure if its just TAs, or all birds, or just ones with the Monsoon) because of the better looking speaker area, and the separate tweeter, etc.

On the other hand though, I think the Camaro actually makes for a better show car (just my opinion though), because there just alot simpler looking and have flowing curves and not a bunch of grills and vents and such. The TA does look a hell of alot meaner though. Camaro=refined sports car type looks/TA=over all bad ass looks

All in all, both have there pros and cons.

^ i don't think the camaro would be better for a show because of its simplicity. throw a giant wing and a body kit on it and it will be a good car show car. i've never heard of anything getting much attention without that crap. then again, i also come from the import scene...

also, i have never seen a camaro interior why i asked. i'll have to check one out at a dealership to see what you are talking about cuz now im curious.

The sheer number of people around my area and on this site that own WS6's is the reason I own an SS. I see at least 3 WS6's on the way to and from work a day. I see maybe one SS a week, and it's always the same one, pewter vert with an older man behind the wheel. I know there are other SS owners out there in the Tulsa area, they just don't come out as much. And NO ONE has an SS in the town where I live, population 6,000, but there are at least 3 WS6's, including a SOM one, which would be the only WS6 I would buy.

Yea but really there are a shitload more SS's than WS.6's...and it just so happens that you got the only SS in town which is cool.

True, but then all I have to say is that's Denver. Probability of me going there anytime soon, much less with my SS, is like none, because I hate Denver, too high, too cold. My 1/4 times are much better down here closer to sea level. I just bought a house in a dinky little town near my hometown that has a population of 900, so my car looks even cooler to those sheltered small town folk nearby.

Don't get me wrong, I see a LOT of beat-up V6 Camaros around here, and a few 93-02 Z28's, but when it comes to Firebirds and up, they are FREAKIN EVERYWHERE down here. So I could see how people's opinions on rarity would be different in other areas.

It is 95 in Denver this week.

We have our cold moments, but overall, the weather is fairly mild here.
    And the mountains....perfection.
Agreed on the altitude though, that sucks for ET's.
