Camaro Appearance Question?

    I think you can buy some paint that is specifically for tail lights , I had the local paint shop mix up some clear and we just kept adding black mixing base until I got a translucent black color.
    Then you apply enough coats till you achieve the desired darkness.

    I'll try to take a pic with the lights off today and post it for you tonight.

    Be sure to apply several light coats, and sand the camaro letters and all low spots and grooves real well.

    Painting is 90% prep IMO- take your time. I would use 1500-2000 grit-just enough to give the new paint something to grab on to. Another suggestion- take the panel off and take it to a bodyshop and let them spray it. I say this because every one of these I have seen done with a rattle can- you can tell. You have to look from the right angle but you can tell.
