Anyone know how to delete the cruise control? I don't ever use it so I see no need for it. I was reading that you need a different throttle cable. Does anyone know what is required for this?

I deleted mt cruise and traction control. You will need a cable for a non traction control car. I have a extra cable, it is brand new GM tags still on it. PM me of you are intrested.

If you are referring to this post: Bye-bye cruise module I used three of the plugs with the slotted pins through which the zip ties were run. I did use a couple of additional black plastic plugs to fill the other open holes in the fenderwell.

It's easy to do and really helps to eliminate some of the clutter.

It's not extended, just moved. The cables stayed the same length.

I did solder in a section of wiring if I recall correctly. Once you have the module relocated, figure out where your wiring will run and then plan for an extension just a bit longer to give you some slack. I prefer solder and shrink tube, however, crimp-style butt connectors will also work.

Why? I cut the tape off the wiring that goes on/under the fender and rerouted the TCS wiring to the new location.

That works too. All my wiring went underneath - that may be why I extended it. Just been too long to recall the details.
