Bumper paint prep question
Hello, was looking for a little advice, I am going to repaint my 98 trans am front bumper cover due to some pretty bad chips all over it, I got it removed and started to sand it down, but I am not sure if I should sand all the spots where the chips are and try to blend the sanding in, not sure if that will work. Or do I try to sand the whole thing which looks like a royal pain, Or would anyone advise of having it blasted, maybe plastic media or soda blast. I am comfortable of my painting, I will be using a good high build primer surfacer, If anyone has any experience with this I would greatly appreciate it Thanks

If you have the money get it blasted. Soad blasted only as other media will tear the plastic apart.
If you want to do it yourself....sand (lightly) the chipped areas. Fill with a filler. sand again.
Take a look a the sticky in the appearance mod section titled CETA mod.
