Brand new gm ws6 front& rear seats

Guys;
just purchased a complete set of factory original gm- ws6 seats for a 2002 t/a today,
i really did not need them but i could not pass up the opportunity for such a rare find, to have these & just having to unbolt your old & bolt in these front( power) & rears is great insurance down the road,
i found out from gm that to make up a complete new seat that each individual piece by piece would have to be ordered or found & it would be an outragious cost,
since the firebird will not be built new again by gm in the coming years - i do think this new complete set of 2002 ws6 front & rear seats (ebony) will become very expensive years down the road??

thats why there are restoration parts companies like YearOne, summit and Jegs-they have manufacturers who will reproduce that stuff in bulk to make it more affordable. The other option would just have your existing ones reupholstered

i understand that!
as long as the repro stuff is not from overseas?
I have been into the classics car hobbie for 12 years ^ from my experience any repo stuff i ordered that ws not made in north america-- it just was not the quality of NOS products, fitment etc, was not good,
Anyways i guess only me or someone that has to have NOS will be the only ones that have any interest in these original Gm seats .

I bet you keep them 10 years and they will pay for themselves with interest when it comes time to sell. I say it's a sound investment, as long as you can keep them clean. They already sell for about $600 or so just for the 2 front seats I believe.
