hey i used niteshades on my reartailights to dim them a bit about 4 months ago(they're kinda dull), can i use dupri color engine enamel w/ceramic clear as a clearcoat on them to shine them up? i originally had bought it as a clearcoat for my calipers but i have over half a bottle left.

You should treat the niteshades as any other painting project. You'll want to wet sand it before you clear it.. then buff out the clear once the paint has cured. The shine (result) everyone wants cannot be achieved with a one step process, it takes work.
