I'm really diggin it!!! I am also debating on doing the ceta mod and possible the sail panel. I was not sure the blue on black would look good, but so far it exceeded my expectations.

Did you use the VHT stuff? I just got a can to do my 3rd brake light. Right now I got the AVS covers on the taillights but was considering spraying them with the VHT. Looks Bad Ass BTW!

Damn nice job on the tails. You ever thought of doing gunmetal for the CETA mod? Would look really sinister on MBM.

Yes I used the VHT. 3 coats and 2 coats of clear. Very black and shiny... lol At night you can still see the lights clearly. in fact you can notice the webs or whatever their called in the lights. Daytime use might be a little sketchy as far as drivers behind you paying attention, but I guess that's the risk you take to look good.

I never thought about gunmetal until you mentioned it... Could look real nice. I started thinking about black and doing the ceta mods. My buddy even suggested carbon fiber but I dunno about that. My buddy owns a mobil paint repair so I can spray it for cheap.

Added bonus is I don't have to look at the water on the inside of my light anymore... lol I also drilled some holes in it so water can drain. I also had water in my left tail light on my grand prix. I had about a f'n gallon in it... lol I couldent believe it.

Great job! VHT is good stuff. I've used it on tails from Camaros to Mustangs to Trucks!

Wow that looks really really nice. I used the AVS covers on mine, but I'm starting to think I might go with VHT now that I see how yours looks.

Looks good, although I like having the reverse lights remain clear.
