Pepboys sells a kit to take the tint off. You spray the liquid on the tint wait for 10 mins and it peels off ever so gentle. I forget the name of the stuff but you should find it

I just got my tint done today and the tint shop had to take old tint off. They said if you use a heat gun or a good hair dryer that the tint AND the glue will easily peel off!

heat it up slightly, take a razor blaze and peel some of it up and then peal the rest of the tint off by hand...then razor blade the whole window and use a Heavy duty glass cleaner to take the rest of the glue off....and if you go to a tint shop and get new put on make sure you tell them that it had tint on it previously and they will clean it better. or go to www.Snaptint.com and they show how to put it on and take it off

dont buy anything to take off the tint. Waste of MOney. Either heat it a bit or just rip it off. Use a little windex or soapy water on the residue and use a razor blade, will come off easy

jusdt use your finger nails and peel it off and then use razor blade to take the glue off of the window. i tinted my own wiondows and now i just took them off due to sale and glue has been on the windows for a week. i AM JUST TOO LAZY TO TAKE THEM OFF BUT I WILL TOMORROW.

like they said above use a hair dryer works great. Here in IL the cops are real dickheads about tint, even in a small hick town like mine. Ive used a hair dryer on 4 different vehicles it works great.

only problem with a hair dryer is the defroster lines on the rear view mirror, you fuck those up ur fucked, theres a way of doing it with a black garbage bag, i belive you spray a little water on it, tape a black garbage bag to the rear window and let it sit in the sun for a day, supposedly it should just come right off, BE CAREFUL OF THE DEFROSTER LINES, all the other windows you can do however you want

I agree with a heat gun. and a lot of patience. Be extra carefull of the defrosting element in the rear. If you cut a line, the whole Line will not work any more. Good luck.

Ive done all my own tinting sence i was 16 and on the back window you take a garbage bag(big black commercial heavy duty) And spray Ammonia on the bag and let it sit for the day and then later that night it should easily just peal off...more than likly if they did it themselves they used a whole sheet on the back window....I cut each strip as long and as wide as the defroster lines are and put one on at a time...defroster works better, and wont bubble up.
PS.. when using ammonia use a heavy set of rubber gloves and maby a resperator. its a bad product to get into the eye too..
