Battling Cancer and the Wire/Hood Release Hide Mod
I had a nice long 3 day weekend, so I decided to take advantage of the nice weather and make some progress on the cancer that has plagued Nymphadora sicne I bought her.
I also did the Wire, Hood Release, and TCS Hide Mods...looks sooooooooo much better after everything.
It looks better in person...I took the pictures at night and it just does not do it justice. The red specks are pieces of plastic that flew up there from when I was cutting up my FRCs with my dremel.

Nice work. Wouldn't that have been a little easier to do when you had the engine out of the car? I have thought about the wire hide mod... would like to see one that has been done on in person. I bet you can not wait to get Nymphadora back on the road -- you have been busting ass on her for weeks!

Yeah, I would have like to have done it while the engine was out, but I was paying to have her on the lift (even over night), so I wanted her out of there asap.
Yeah, you have no idea how much I want to drive her. It rained a total of 11" in May and those few good days we had in there, I had to settle for my MazdaSpeed3's sunroof and windows Even today, it was close to 90, I would have loved to go tearing down the highway for a few hours, but alas...
Right now, I'm waiting on the Stainless Steel Headers to arrive so I can swap them out for my Pacesetter. After that I can get my exhaust fabbed up then finally get it tuned.

whats to keep the tire from rubbing against the wires and water and street gunk from getting in the connections when you run the wires like that?

Yes, the inner wheel well piece of plastic is missing in the pic. Also, I used almost a whole roll of electrical tape wrapping it around the wires and connections. It is completely seeled. Also, I try my best not to driver her in the rain.
Thank you

I was going to get some LPPs. Carl at LPP said they had a pair of the old design laying around and that he would sell them to me for $400. I told him to wait till yesterday for me to get paid and I would send the payment right over. Wel, when I sent the payment, they refunded it saying they had sold them to someone else. I was pissed. So I went on eBay and bought the $180 ($148 Headers and $32 Shipping) headers. I figured that by the time they've served their useful lifespan, LPP will be in stock again and I'll just sell these to my buddy who has a '98 Camaro SS.
I need to get my FRCs done, so I can take a picture of the entire engine bay...it looks super-f**king sexy with all of this fresh gloss black paint under there.
Thanks for the compliments.
