Battery cover...
I thought this turned out really good, and figured I'd brag about it a little bit.
I think I may make one for my Firehawk next... Any input as to what I should put on it? I don't think I want a picture of the car itself on mine, and I don't just want to list specs...but I do want to cover the unsightly battery. Shoot...I'm thinking I might just make a blank black one and put it on there.____________________

Thanks! Attaches by simple Velcro tabs on the four corners. Easy, and works well from what I can tell so far. I found others attaching them the same way too, so I feel fairly certain it will hold on there okay.

I will get a picture of the second one (I made two of these...trying to get rid of #2 on eBay to recoup my investment) installed on my Firehawk this week. The engine bay won't be yellow, but at least it will be installed on a car.

nice. I can't do a battery cover becuase mine has the top posts. Unless i drill holes on it. Post a pic when you install it.

Will do. A hole saw would make quick work of the top post issue. Either that or just stand it off the battery by however much you need to...that's cover up those posts, too.
I always liked dual post batteries in my cars. Easy to attach jumper cables when needed.

Need to get a top-post battery owner to get a dimensional layout of the battery, so pre-drilled holes can be punched/drilled.
Don't some Optima batteries have top post?
If I knew the battery code/style, I'd go a local chain store & measure one myself.

That is the problem. I'm not sure all of them are the same. The Optimas are closer together than most for sure, but even the "normal" brands may be different. Might be better to stand the cover up off the top. It'd look better, too, IMO

Kind of looks like someone left a box for a model in your engine bay. Nice work!

Well...I don't have a CETA. I made this for a guy who does, but he doesn't have it in hand yet. Folks wanted pics, so I obliged the best I could. I didn't mean to dirty up the LSX site with my trashy ol' LTX car.
