Audi R8 Headlight Mod for Trans Am
Hey guys, had a neat idea i actually got from a guy with an 80s diesel truck. Granted the truck didnt pull it off well but A for effort. Ive seen alote of headlights out there with the Audi R8 style LEDs. I decided since I would be snowed in this weekend id tackle it. Pretty simple, if anyones intrested i can do a right up later... pics are just teasers, ill take some better ones when i finish the wiring.

Blue 1997 Trans Am(Sold)- Pewter 2001 Trans Am Vert
I understand the concept but I think a person has to look at the wider picture here. The LED look decent on the R8 because it matches its design and overall look. You can't just take something that looks good on one car and throw it on another. Alot of times it won't match things like the curves of the car and so on.
Point being, I think this will look rice no matter how nice of job you do. It will be out of place, it would be like throwing a big wing on an f-body, it might even be a nice spoiler but it would look out of place and therefore stupid on our cars. Keep the look clean...
p.s. this is the same argument I have for rims on our cars... Camaro's look good with rims like C6 Z06 rims while TA's don't, because the straight spokes of the rims matches the straight lines of the camaro... where as a Firebird is alot more curvacious and therefore looks better with rims like TTII that are curvy...
just my .02$

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
I think you did it wrong. you should have put them on the inside-top of the flip up, so when it's down there is a series of LEDs around the lip of the front of the closed headlamp.
