6LE CME Valance
I just installed my CME valance from 6 liter eater and there is this large unfinished edge at the top that is nothing but a dust trap i love the look of it but i was wondering if anyone has used a calking or some sort of filler for this lip? When it was painted and installed the lip was sanded but as of now it still looks bad. I have been trying to find a black caulk but havent had any luck.

You could talk to a body shop and see if they will sand the upper portion to blend in with the contours of the bumper. You might have some excess material which is protruding from the lower edge of the rear bumper.

I have the same exact issue with mine. I'll eventually have it blended into the bumper.

I did the same thing...like you said, it's better but still not great. I'll try and get some pics up tonight of mine. At least yours is black so it's kinda harder to see.....mine is silver and sticks out like a sore thumb.

Has anyone tried to find out if a body shop could trim the upper edge of the valance?

I would think that you could sand it smooth before painting... I would have to look at it in person though I guess to see more.

Ah. I see. I dunno if 3M makes a thinner double-sided tape. You might have to check parts stores near you to find out if there is a thinner option and if the stores stock it.

There is no problem with the Valances as they were molded from SLP's valance. I have a 6LE myself and it sat fine.
The problem you guys all seem to be having is that you're placing yours too high on the bumper. It doesn't go "on" the bumper, it's kinda sticks to the "bottom" where the bumper starts to curve under. The tape should be just under the edge of the valance.
Also, the easiest way to peel the tape is to make a cut in each corner to make it 3 pieces. That way it's easier to manage.
Here are some pics of my valance blended:

Actually OP, yours looks pretty much like all the ones I've seen/done. All you can really try to do is move it down a bit.

It is mounted high. Not saying that will definitely fix it but I can see in the pics it is mounted about 1/4" high.
It is molded so that the 3M tape actually attaches at an angle. You have to mount it a little lower for that to happen and that's how the edge blends better.
Unfortunately these things are just a PITA to get 100% right, just how SLP designed them. There's no line on the bumper to go off of
I mounted my DE high and it looked like that AND it makes it seem too long as well. Sommer came along, mounted it right and it looked great.
On a side note, I LOVE YOUR EXHAUST
