I have the same setup as Ls1camino... but I always thought a cool place is in place of the center three air vents.

Screw the Tach and just use a small shift light and mount it in the circular A-pillar hole. The one with the 3 slats... pictured in ls1caminos picture below the 1st gauge pod,

Wish I had a picture of one. Its looks way better than an aftermarket tach anyway.

TNTRamair has it ill see if he has any pics of it.

Yes it is...I bought an aluminum mount that Sarge directed me to, and a Hardwiring Kit from Crutchfield specific for my detector...if you look in the picture, you can see the remote Mute Button under my HVAC (Temperature Dial)...I wired the detector to turn on when the ignition is turned on (along with my pillar gauges, and the 10' wire that comes with the kit I ran up under my dash, up the pillar, under the headliner, wrapped it around the mirror mount and plugged it in to the RD...you can barely see it from the outside and it doesn't leave any suction cup marks or any wires on your dash.

I'm putting 3 more gauges in this winter in my 3 vents

I thought about that, but decided to have a small Tach too...I even discovered that the stock Tach is about 200-300 RPMs too high
