    Window Cleaning

How do you get your windows clean and clear? I have had more trouble getting my windows where there's not streaks, marks, etc. The front windshield from the inside is hard to get to however the sides and front glass still get give me trouble. I have tried several window cleaners but no luck. What do you guys use?

i used to detail cars at a gm dealership. as far as product goes, gm makes a nice glass cleaner but almost anything will work. get yourself some microfiber towels, use the cleaner sparingly and wipe down with the microfiber. then use the old standby......newspaper.....after cleaning the window wad up a sheet of newspaper and polish the glass. should work

The GM glass cleaner is nice, I use it frequently. Newspaper works great for windows as does many other glass products.

i use invisable glass with a glass cleaning cloth. if you use too much cleaner it is hard to keep from streaking.

I use Invisible Glass with news paper and it works pretty good. I use the actual spray and not the foam.

I've been told the ink in newspaper acts as a glass polish not sure if its true or not, but newspaper does do a good job of cleaning glass streak free. I've used it for years in the house and on the car.

I have Invisible Glass Spray and it looks perfect until night time or a hazy day and then I can see all the marks, wipes, etc. I can never get it perfect. I'm going to try newspaper, less spray possibly a glass cleaning cloth and see if I can't get it there. The other challenge is reaching the interior front windshield glass due to the angle. Any tricks there?

Invisible Glass from Stoner's & 3M Adhesive Remover is maybe the best I used.
    Haven't tried it with newspaper.
But I recall in the Marine Corps we used newspaper to clean the windows.
Those windows didn't have a mark on them when we were done.
I've used Spray Away too. Not bad at all.

Try just going over it with a microfiber towel with nothing on it. That will get rid of the residue left by the cleaner. It's how I get mine clear.

As per reaching the frong of the windshield, here's an idea, take your town and wrap it around the bristle portion of a small broom, use rubberbands to hold it. Then you can reach it. My arms are long enough that I don't need to do this, but I tried it at a previous job for cleaning tall windows without getting a latter out, and it worked great.
