The semi-local bodyshop supply store carries Norton products -- I picked up their Liquid Ice pads to use on our cars. Which reminds me, my step-son just destroyed one of them.

I buy SM Arnold Cutting and Finishing Pads (Black and Yellow Foam) at Harbor Freight for peanuts, like 7 or 8 bucks each. SM Arnold makes many many "high end" pads

Yup. That's where I get mine.
If getting them from Properautocare.com, use promotional code TID10 at check out to receive 10% off.
If ordering for autogeek.net, use promorional code, corvetteforum to get a 10% discount as well. I think is either 10 or 15% off. Not sure. Just one word: corvetteforum

thanks guys. If you were picking 3 pads what pads would you get or what combo of pads works the best? Mainly for swirls and light scratches.....no major work.

Pewter- 2002 Trans Am Convertible
same here. Lake Country Pads FTW!!
i use 5.5" pads. 6.5" pads werent cuttin enough for my liking!!
Yellow = very aggressive
Orange = pretty aggressive, perfect all around pad. you can get away with this pad for almost anything. you can use this pad with some aggressive polishes and get a nice finish (also depending on the polish), and not need to use finishing polish (as done below)
I used an orange pad with Menzerna SIP on the achieva below...
http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread...hlight=achieva
blue/white = perfect for finishing polishes.
and i also use Cyclo 4" pads on my drill for small spots!
