^ I have used the same ones from wal-mart and they arent bad BUT I broke down and bought some Cobra MF towels and the way they are weaved so they take wax off much better and they dont have a sewn edge-the sewn edge can scratch.

microfiber towels wrk fine, take the tag off and if your soooo worried about the edges just fold it so the edges wont touch the paint, never had a problem

Just trying to make a suggestion. If you think the edges wont cause problems then thats up to you.

NEVER touch the car with an "absorber" unless you want swirl marks, im not too crazy over chamois either, as for me the ONLY thing that will touch my car is microfiber towels

^ I fully agree. I made the mistake of drying my car one time with the absorber and it was swirl city. Some say its not true but I have a black car and it showed swirls big time after the absorber.

Yes sir. If you want the best results go with a microfibre waffle weave towel with silk edges for drying and for polish or wax removal etc. go with a edgeless microfibre towel. I use Cobra.

however, for wax removal, I still prefer mf or silk bound edges

Would a new gas blower do this-prolly not but the POS this guy had did. When I told the guy not to blow my car off ever again he said "why not?" hahahahahaha!!!!!

The less you wipe the car with anything the less chance of inducing swirls-so in theory a electric blower would help reduce wiping.
BTW-I dry my car with *COBRA* Microfibre waffle weave.

I'm pretty sure yours was the story I remembered cause I remember you calling it a POS leaf blower hahah

i use a leaf blower to get all the water out of where the panels meet and the lights and other areas where a towel can't go... and then i use 100% cotton towels and hit it with some zaino show spray...

anything 100% cotton made in the U.S.A. anything made out of the country may say 100% but may not be.... less strict rules about that out of the country... so t-shirts work great for not scratching your paint. i use a california blade personally though... faster

just about every auto store has them or something similar.
pretty much wipes all the water off streak free and no laundry to clean/dry later lol

if i need to go anywhere soon i'll hit all the area like mirrors and such with the blow gun on the air compressor then wipe it down with the blade
