    waxed it up

I used Zaino car wax for the first time last weekend and i have to say i am very pleased with the results. I know there is a big debate over which wax is the best or whatever but in the end its your car... and as long as you are satisfied with it, nothing else matters. Anyways, here's a few pics:

Looks great, but for future reference, Zaino is not a wax, its a polish/sealant

    What was your process?

true true, you are correct. the process i've used so far is:

wash with dawn, z5/z5/z2 and then the z7 wash. used the z6 detailing spray between each step and after the wash.

i plan on using one more coat of z5 to get rid of any swirl marks that may remain and finish with two more of z2. i've always looked at polishing/waxing my car as a pain in the ass and honestly i still feel the same way... but now i'm seeing great results and actually starting to enjoy it (as crazy as that sounds)

Give ZPC a try for the swirls as well. Its a mild abrasive and works very well. Have you used Z9 or Z10 for the leather yet?

i'll have to give that a shot, leather is next on my list... i cleaned/conditioned it about 2 weeks ago with some mothers products and wasn't too satisfied. Does the z10 give the leather a more wet look? i also have to say that i am very pleased with the z16 perfect tire gloss, it lasts and gives the tires a great finish.

The Z9 is a cleaner/softner spray and the Z10 is the conditioner. I wouldn't say its going to give it a wet look, but it makes it extremely soft and gives it the best smell you will smell in the interior of a car. You will love how your leather looks and feels after using it.

Here is a picture of my driver seat, original seat, only treated with Z9 and Z10:

It's kind of funny that you just started this thread...I was just looking at the zaino website last night to decide if I should go ahead and make an order.....did you get the Zaino "Ultimate Protection Show Car Kit"? Also, what towels did you (or anyone else that uses Zaino) use for drying, etc.? Most of all, YOUR RIDE LOOKS DAMN GOOD!

lol thats exactly how i ordered, i looked at a thread on here and placed the order after about an hour more of research. yes i got the ultimate kit. in their instructions they say to use a brand name white 100% cotton bath towel to remover the polish. for the most part the bath towel works well but to make sure i got everything off i finished with a microfiber and would suggest doing the same. thanks for the compliments guys!
