    Wash or Throw Away??

    Do you guys wash or throw away your used/dirty wax applicators?? I always tossed mine once they got bad but wondering how washng would do on them...any experience with that?

    I usually wash them. Depending on their condition I might use them again on the engine bay, windows, and painted wheels
    If they're dirty as "soiled" then you can use them on the engine bay, and things like that. If they're dirty as "with wax" I'd wash them inspect them, and keep using them with that same wax if they don't have foreign debris that can scratch the paint. If you wash your car right, then the applicators shouldn't be soiled after you're done waxing...

    Another thing I do is put my applicators in a baggie if they're still clean and only wax on it

    i use the meguiars foam apps,and i just put them in the washer w/ regular detergent and sometimes a dab of dawn,and store them in baggies.same w/ microfiber apps.

    I use 1 towel for wax and different towel if I use another application. I don't throw it away. Washing keeps your budget safe.

    I usually just toss em. At less than a dollar a piece, I'd rather just use new fwiw though, I've washed them w/ microrestore and they do just fine.

    I wash them until they look worn out. I wash my microfiber cloths and sometimes terry towels too.
