    Turtle Wax "Black Box"

I used the Turtle Wax "Black Box yesterday on my new Black WS6 that "LOOKED" like it hadnt been waxed in years. After the Black Box the paint is so smooth and shines like new. If you have a black car and are still looking for a good system i would recommend the Black Box

try Armor All Tire Gel. I put it on our 01 Mustang when we stored it, it was still wet when we took it out of storage abuot 5 months later. not wet looking, you could still wipe it off. this stuff doesnt dry out! i did my truck monday, still wet today. been out in the sun all day yesterday and this morning. usually stays wet looking for 2 weeks.

thats b/c your using Turtle Wax.

If you use a good wax, you wont have to. a good wax will still be there even after 3 washes. a good wax, should be there for atleast a month.

Ya its kind of a pain to use. but when you finifh its worth it. I have used so many types of wax and polish over my short life and this is by far the best one for black car.

This is my first time using turtle wax. and i have to say its not bad. I never just wash a car, i detail the car. 2 or 3 times a week. you can only wax your car every 1 to 3 years but ill stick with 2 or 3 times a week.

Turtle wax or not, if you like it then thats all that matters. You will obviously
use it quite a bit if you wash on a regular basis. I just tell people use what you love and use it often.

I disagree. I used it on my black 98 TA and the results lasted about a year before I reapplied it. And that car was parked outside. Also, I replaced the hood on my black Mustang and the color was slightly off from the car. I used the black box on the hood and it darkened it nicely to match the rest of the car, and that was 2 years ago and I haven't reapplied. This car is garaged so that has helped it last longer I suppose...

You wax it 2-3 times a week??? Wash it with dawn and see how much wax comes off I agree a good wax if used properly in the right steps (wash, clay, wash, polish, wax) should last for a good month.

He obviously hasn't used Zaino or any of the professional products if he thinks turtle wax is the best.

I use megs on my arrest me red firebird, I buy the 20$ box kit has a towel, claybars, wax, detailer spray, and it lasts a very good while! Its sat in the driveway for 3 months atm, one wash with a high powered sprayer "1/4" washes, and it felt like the day I waxed it!

I use either meguires nxt 2.0 (oo fancy name) which i would consider to be the best thing you can get at local auto part stores. or Zaino. Zaino goes on the ss. Meguires on everything else

It looks "ok" at best. And thats if you can keep it from streaking. But
2 washes at best and it's gone.
