I use the black box on all 3 of my black cars. Two are daily drivers, and then the Firebird never leaves the garage. The shine is still like the day I applied it on my Camaro, and that's been washed a dozen times, once in a car wash. No problems I will say I'm not impressed with the quick detail spray it comes with I don't use that anymore. As for ease of use, it's as easy as any other wax on a black car.

I bet you would be VERY surprised at how much better it could look with a good product....or if I gave your car 2 hours with my products.

I hate to sound like an asshole...and I know it comes across that way.
But ANYTHING turtle wax has out is complete junk.

I used to use zaino and while its a great product I went to meguiars. I washed it and then waxed. I wash atleast once a week and then the quick detail. When I got back from a long trip I took the hose to the front end and almost all bugs came off with just the hose.

Can you give my car 2 hours with your products?? My car has been lookin nasty. Last year my car didn't have any defects. This year, it looks like complete garbage, my main issue is them stupid swirls. I know its gotta be my buffing wheel, That's the only thing that's changed since last year.

Would need more than 2 hours to clean up swirls...

But I recommend Meguiars Ultimate Compound for that anymore. Cheap, and works great.
Use with PC and orange pad.

I agree with this. I got the Turtle wax black box before and the Black Carnauba Wax wouldn't come off I had to wash it 3 times and do a clay bar and use a buffer before it would come off. I definately wouldn't use that stuff again.

Have ultimate compound. Didn't work too well for me. Also bought swirl remover and scratch remover. Scratch remover is my favorite so far. Where do I get an orange pad

    Autogeek.
Ultimate compound will likely work best with a machine.

I think that's the problem, I have the harbor freight one. I had a pretty nice milwaukee one but my dad left it outside over winter

You can borrow mine in exchange for those 'Ram Air' decals....
I just don't currently have a good orange pad. May be ordering soon though....as I need a couple more Sonus waffle weaves.

Alright, Who's gonna be in the photos? I can meet you also so its entirely up to you. I don't even need to buff this weekend since I don't have a pad but I'd love to give you those stickers. I have class tomorrow but all and I leave work around 4 during the weekdays. OFF WEEKENDS.

    I work all day Saturday.
Should be off around 7-8 Friday night....
    Just let me know where!

Looking like the gf and I right now. Just needing a last little photo shoot before the car gets put away for a while.
Using the money I would normally be dropping on it monthly for a deposit on a place.

If you have to wax your car every time you wash it, you need to try something else because you're wasting your money.
