    Cool ts|s restores a TSX

This is a 2006 Acura TSX, the color is difficult to capture-it's a very VERY dark midnight blue metallic. When I met the customer, it was obvious the car had a ROUGH life as a lease prior to him buying it. The paint was HAMMERED! Looked like it been washed with a hair brush every day. I met the customer while polishing a BMW at his condo. He pulled his car around and asked what could be done. So I explained a bit about the process and asked when he would like to set something up (this was before the holiday). Finally he scheduled something with me over this past weekend. He was kind enough to let me take the vehicle off his hands so I could work on it in my home garage as opposed to freezing my conjoins off at the condo. This turned out to be to both of our advantages as the car ended up needing 12 hours of work and i NEVER touched the inside!

    Process:
    ONR wash
    Clay Bar
    ONR (to remove clay gunk)
    Degreased/wash wheels
Jacked up the car and washed the fenders too.
3 Step Polish (yellow, orange and white Kompressor pads)
    Finished with Adams Wax

I ended up returning it to him in the morning, so there was some light at sunrise to grab one full pic of the car
Now I'm going to pass out for a day

Nice work! The reflection from your textured ceiling freaked me out for just a moment until I realized what I was looking at. Hope the weather is nice enough that your customer can enjoy it for just awhile. Right now, it's not even worth the effort to wash a car in our area with all the crap on the roads.

I wouldnt recommend it honestly. It's very dusty and seemed hard to work with. I'm going to go with Mequires 205 & 105 next time around. I just have about half a bottle of my compound and polish left so it will probably be spring when i reload.

That looks awsome! I saw the post you did with the blue TA, stunning! I want to try this come spring on the Mustang and my Silverado. What do you charge for something like that(on the Acura)?

WHOA...i didn't do that T/a...i was cross posting that from a forum, because it was such an incredible job and figured everyone here would appreciate it.

That being said, to restore a car's finish from hammered to show-worthy, would be $30/hour. You could easily get into the 300-400 range on the correction i've posted up if your car is in that bad of shape.
