Didn't know Zaino made a tire shine. Didn't see that. I use Mequirars NXT instant tire shine and have pretty good results from that.

This is what I use and I love it. For a spray can, it goes on extremely well and easy, doesn't drip or goop after being applied, and shines like crazy. And most importantly, I have never had a problem with it slinging off onto the car. Just as long as it sits for 10 minutes or so before driving.

Also, there is a pretty large thread with everyone's opinions of which shine to use.

I completely understand your frustration...I had the same problem and couldn't find anything that works...I finally, found a solution...Don't use tire shine, use Armor All..It gives your tires the shine and it won't splash up on your car...Believe me, it works great!

those are my 2 fav.insane shine has the best gloss of any shines i think.and Z-16 leaves a pretty good shine.not as glossy and greasy looking as most tire shines.when you put it on apply it and let it set for awhile before driving it.i usaully wash my car in the evening and apply tire shine and let it set overnight.

Sounds good. NXT works like that but, I normally go over it with an old cloth that I keep just for smoothing it in and getting rid of any slime.

    It does work good......No question.

Another one that works well is "More shine " By Stoners... Almost like a clearcoat for tires.

    Too greasy for me...

What has Armor All changed?? Still just uses oil to get a shine right?
Either way, still not using it. Not on the dash, not on the tires, etc...

I use meguirs hot spray tire shine, i put it on a applicator and rub it on. The prep plays a big role i use simple green (half water, half simple green) on where i put tire shine well im washing the car. Then rinse and dry off with a towel that way all the old shine, dirt and grim is off the tire. Spray the applicator with the shine, rub it onto the tire with alittle bit of elbow into it. Let it sit for 30 mins so it sets into the rubber. Works everytime for me i dont get any black dots at all. If you want to go overboard, get a hairdryer (yes a hairdryer i know ) and after you put the tireshine on, go around the tire with the hairdryer on hot and that way it warms the rubber and the tireshine sets in better

LOL. I'll see what I can do to stomach green eggs and ham once. I'll try a sampler or something.

VERY good product, and they are based about 5 miles from where I grew up. Teeny little place for a company that produces so much good shit!

btw, their glass cleaner is second to none IMO.
