I've tried everything with the dot matrix, and wish I would have just had it painted to start with. $45, no bubbles, no sanding of the dot matrix, and no vinyl on the exterior of the window and I'm happy with the results.

I got my camaro and my 2 2006 Kia Rios all tinted for $165 guy did an outstanding job and used lifetime 3m tint. Got 15% on all three cars.
The rear hatch on the camaro is tricky even an expert installer has a difficult time putting it in.

Sorry for the wording. Yes, I tried having it tinted, and the bubbles still showed. Then they used vinyl, and the bubbles showed. Finally, I resorted to having it painted, which turned out great.

I've heard people using vinyl, but I hear some people would sand down the matrix dots a little
I did my Z06 about a moth ago, and it turned the best I could hope for...

I've heard of that as well. The guy I spoke with said he used to paint the dot matrix until the quality of tints got better (up until recently). So, he talked me into the painting, and it was only $45.

does a one-piece rear hatch tint exist for these cars? I hate lines. Also, would a good tint-guy be able to do a reflective-tint outline of a bird first, then put tint OVER the reflective? Friend of mine had "SHO" on the back window of his taurus sho in a reflective blue and then the rest of the window was dark, just wondering is all.

yes thats possibol with a good tinter. most will just cut and fit, but my freind had some marker lines on both viynals to line up correctyly ( he added them in ) , but for tint i think its just cutting,

    but seen it before

Alot of places use a computer to cut the tint perfect for the car they are doing. My hatch is done in one piece.

No Unqiue is just cutting the tint and applying hte water to the back of the tint so it will stick so they can cut it to have perfect window curve cuts...

Last year I had a problem with a cop giving me tint tickets and so when I moved to SD I put on darker and going to school in MN yet I put 5% TINT on myself, Ive done alot of larger decals and tint is very very hard to make happy. I put it on the outside cut it to length ect. You have to have time and more time, it probably took me 3hrs to do it in my Grand prix. and boy does Tint piss off the cops. But I advise you not to put any darker than 25% on the back it is extremly hard to see out of at night. It may look goofy with 5% all the way around until hte back window. but i had to change it after putting 5% on.

    Tips:
    Clean windows with AMMONA
take a credit card and scrap all of the windows
    cut tint to size.
spray tint and window with DISTILLED water
place on window and squeege from the center up and down then work side to side.
Tint will get darker as the water inbetween will evaporate.

www.Snaptint.com precut tint to any car. Did it on my trans am windows....it worked wonderful
