Some Zaino love for my DD today

Figured it was time to clean up the POS, so here was my process today:

Washed it with Z7 twice using the 2 bucket method.

    Dried with an Absorber

    Claybarred using Z18

Used ZPC and this pad to clean the paint and work on some bad areas.

    Finished with Z5

This car doesn't look magnificent by any means(it has 165k miles and 12 years old), but I was fairly impressed with the results today. All this was done by hand, I don't have a buffer.

Looks good P! Now, all you need to do is get after all that orange peel with some 3000 grit sandpaper and she'll be ready for Barrett-Jackson.

Has to be the most money and effort spent on making a Ford Contour look good -- ever. Nice job though!

I probably spent more time/money on the car today than the car is worth

I hope the weather's good Thursday then, I'll be happy if my SS looks half as clean. I dawned her up this weekend and gave a good handwash, and used some Meguiers (sp?) all wheel cleaner and Nevr Dull, didn't get a chance to do the Mother's aluminum polish but the wheels were nice and shiny anyway

I hope the weather stays good too. As long as it does, we will get your SS shined up

As of right now, (according to KJRH) Wednesday shows a 50% chance, but Thursday's supposed to be 80 and sunny

I am a workhorse/busybody/perfectionist to the max. I have a knack for polishing things, like shafts, well driveshafts
