nooks and crannys. thats what pisses me off. you spend all that time with a cali water blade, the absorber, a good bath towel to suck the water out of the mirrors, around the lights, the door jambs, etc., you drive down the road, stop, and you find the car covered with little streamers that sucked up every particle of dust that could be found. [my therapist says there could be worse things but im not buyin it]

Use a good chamois (not the POS absorber) and run it down most of your cracks....also open the hood, doors, trunk/hatch, gas door, etc and WIPE DOWN ALL YOUR SEALS....as you close these things back the little hiding drops of water will expose themselves. Also, I find a nice drive about 1/10 mile down the street at a SLOW speed causes most of the water (except for around the tailights on these freaking cars) to come out and stream down. THEN go back with your clean, slightly damp chamois and voila! perfect!

Own a black car and you'll learn tricks like these, lol.

yep, i do everything you said, even a drive around the block, under the hood, inside the hatch, drag the corners in the cracks etc. but when i get where im going theres the streamers. only cure is to leave it sit in the garage till the next day. [my wife thinks i need medication]

For me it's the water the leaks from around the back lights that has me beating my head against a wall. No matter how much i try, i'm starting to think there's no way to get around it. They can figure out how to put a man on the moon, they can come out with a pill that can keep you with an erection for 18 hours, but they cant figure out a way to get a Trans Am completely dry after you wash it.

Amorall makes a drying towel that is orange and available at Walmart. Best thing I have ever used, purchased a second one last week. I think it like 8.00.

Yup! I just bought two last week. I really like them...I only used them for polishing though...never thought about drying with them.
