You can get waffle weave towels at Autozone. They work great and don't leave swirls on my black car. I can't believe I used to dry with a regular towel before that.

Last time I dry toweled was like 1977. Shamois at that time revolutionized car cleaning. Welcome to last week..........lol.

I use my blower to get the water off all my cars, except for the TA because it sits in the garage and it does not get bad enough to use water to clean it, in fact the last time water touch it was when i was caugh in the rain.

i use a squeegee. they have them at autozone but they are like $5 cheaper at walmart (same brand and everything). much, much faster. it pushes off the water so it gets everything better. when waffle weave towels get a little wet they stop working as well. then to get into the cracks and corners i use the old waffle towel i got from autozone. leaves everything perfect.

but to skip this i might soon buy a pool filter for my hose. they just screw right in and hopefully will keep the marks from coming. they only cost like $10 on amazon so its worth a shot.

I never thought about using my electric blower. I've got a Toro leaf blower/vac. I think I'll try that. I'm sure it will save me some time and work. Thanks

Hell yeah, going to try it out today. Can't wait. Friggin water blade is good but, if its' out in the sun for 2.2 nano seconds before you get it wiped, you're hosed.

Some will use the leaf blower.

I refuse. While it works for most...my luck says that the motor would take a shit on me and spit metal pieces out onto my paint.

Well, I used the blower and it seemed to do pretty good. Gotta work at it for a bit though. Just quickly went over it afterwards with a shamois and it's good.

    Retire that.
It picks up little particals and will swirl your paint up.

Waffle weave towels are the way to go.

The chamois has always worked wonders for me, my car is proof. I've tried the Waffle, it was decent. I'll stick to my chamois.

I just used some micro fiber towels on my car yesterday and those things are amazing!

They absorb a ton of water and wring out really well.

Super soft and I'm buying more!

My dad uses an absorber on his cars and the damn thing looks like a shop towel after a few months. You couldnt pay me to drag that thing across my paint.
