    Just as i thought;

    It is almost impossible to remove scratches from chrome. Many people will tell you about some amazing product. It doesn't work.

    The chrome process can be a 3 or 4 step process.

    1) Polish item
    2) Optional, Copper Plate item
    3) Nickel Plate item (the color for the "chrome")
    4) Chrome Plating (clear coat)

    It is the last step that is the problem. Chrome is actually a Clear coat over the nickel. The problem is the Chrome plating is only about .00001 thick !!! That isn't very thick and if you scratch it and can see the scratch, there is no more chrome there to remove the scratch from. You actually scratch it down to the nickel plate. Try all the miracle products you want, some fill the scratch others just scratch everything but NOTHING fixes it.

    Ah, god damnit oh well its not that noticeable. My wheels have them but as soon as I get brake dust on them (which is 1min after driving) it covers them up aha

    Here its like $200 per wheel to rechrome them, it just isnt worth it lol. I paid $200 for 6 17x9 chrome firehawk wheels and 4 had tires still on them.

    they're drag wheels so it's no big deal really. I wasn't sure if you could get them out or not. I used some stuff on them yesterday and got them to look a little better. They're good enough to race with.

    I'm a fan of those rims....Y2K's for f-bodies pretty much. They typically aren't very cheap either.
