    scratch free drying

I always get the feeling that when i use a chamois to dry my car it scratches the clear coat. I remember seeing an ad on TV a while back about a car dryer that blows the water off your car.

I've searched the internet TV ads all over numerous times and haven't come up with anything on it. Can anyone help me find it or if you know what i'm talking about?

A leaf blower works. It has to be a dedicated leaf blower to use for dryn your car and nothing else.
Still the LB won't dry your car 100%. You still need to go with a towel and mop up the rest.
Buy a MF towel for drying. That's your best bet...

In truth, a leaf blower is a wonderful way to dry your vehicle, as it can blow water out of and away from panel gaps and those tricky areas around side mirrors. Several car detailers I've both spoken to, and others whose advice I've read in magazines, recommend using a leaf blower for this purpose.

I also like to use my Absorber cloth because it's proven to be much gentler than a chamois. I'm always careful to use the Absorber in sections, inspect it to ensure that it hasn't picked up abrasive particles, and I always dry the car from top to bottom. Also, I never use a polishing or "swirling" motion when drying my car. I always use horizontal strokes as I follow the contours of the car's body panels.

I use the Mr. Clean products. But it's only good when it isn't too sunny, or too cold. Need to make sure the filter is always good, in the long run a expensive and not super efficent. But it does work and requires not towels.

    LOL!!!!

If you decide to get a leaf blower, get an electric one.

Gas ones, I've heard, can spit a little oil on your car.

I have an absorber. Gotta love light colored cars. My leafblower is reserved for dusting the engine bay

if youre just gonna use it on your car, go electric. lighter and cheaper and you can tip it upside down or anyway you need. gas blower will leak gas and oil if tipped upside down. works amazing with any car that has a coat of wax on it, beads right off. if not, it just sheets up. thats what i use, then follow up with waffle weave microfiber towels, and quick detailer of your choice. works amazing for me. (however electric blowers suck balls for leaves, )
