    Rock chips and scratches?

Ok i have several rock chips on my doors and hood. Some go all the way through the paint and you can see the black fiberglass or metal under the paint. Im just curious if there is a good rubbing compound to use and perhaps clay? And after a good wax...but what kind? and a paste or liquid? Also it needs to be something that one can procure from autozone or something similar. Thanks for any help guys

Nothing you can do. Once it's gone thru the clear it cannot be buffed out
May be some touch-up paint might help...

Thanks goose i hear your the man when it comes to our paint. I tried that covered it up pretty well. For a red TA what wax and or polish would you suggest to make it look its best? Something from autozone. Thanks for your help.

Z2, Z5 and Z6 are great for a starter package.

Depends on where you are. They have a distribution center in Kansas. I always have mine within 2 days of ordering.

You need to remove any existing wax by washing your car with Dawn dishsoap and then you need to claybar the car before applying any Zaino. Start with Z5 and use Z2 as your last coat. You will want to apply Z6 between every coat for added shine.

For your chips and what not. I have heard good results from people using factory matched touch up paint. Then adding clear. I have read about people doing either claybar or wetsanding and buffing afterwards. They say it really helps the appearance.

Ok after the polish(Z5) is added there will be no need for any wax, is that correct?
